Facilities capable of housing maintenance bays exist in only four of the 44 counties.
Readiness requirements mandate that applicant organizations submit fleet utilization audits covering the prior 24 months and letters of commitment from county road departments for winter access routes. Plans must quantify projected ridership increases for seniors and low-income households using current Medicaid transportation logs as baseline data.
